Jesus Christ, my cellphone!

Picture

I swear I brought it

into the mall

with me

but my cellphone

is now missing

evidently.

I must retrace

each step

of the way

or else this disaster

will ruin

my day

It's already 5 minutes

and I'm starting

to sweat.

I should've worn

diapers

to place a safe bet.

My head is spinning.

I just need

to cry

and roll into a ball,

lay down

and die.

A miracle

then happened

with a shining light

of biblical proportions

and rare

insight.

I recognized him

instantly

from a travel magazine.

He had the most beautiful face

I ever

seen.

The kind man

wore a button

that I could understand

if I wanted

to visit

the Holy Land

and in a voice so mellow

I immediately

had a clue

when He said

"Excuse me Sir.

I think this belongs to you."

belongs to you."

I looked deep into His eyes

and no longer

felt alone

"Jesus Christ,

you've found

my beloved cellphone!"

Good morning Shauna - I wanted to get you going with the title, lol, and then take a typical Epi-twist at the end , lol. A very serious piece next in the yin and yang of Epi's writing. So glad I made you chuckle though but losing someone like a cellphone is no laughing matter either .....have an awesome day in Florida and sent some heat up our way here in Canada, we're cold. Canada time 11:10am

In a shameless attempt to seem shocking, lol, I wanted to catch the reader's attention with this title, lol, so thank you my marvelous Marsha for your open mind and reading it until the end and of course your sense of humor. Off to work in a bit - we had quite a snowstorm today and I hope sincerely all is well with you and your family. Canada time 7:13pm
