"To receive a little fresh air away from the convent is the lord's blessing
and you may titter at that thought, dear readers, when I say that.
Of course God is everywhere and as I breathe in the morning dew
I am in His presence while sitting here in our garden courtyard.
I spot a lovely sparrow perched up above on the branch of a tree
and walk slowly over to say hello.
As I sing a little hymn to the glory of all God's living creatures
the sparrow decides to drop a heavenly parcel
on my shoulder.
Naturally I have to laugh and I chose not to consider it a blemish
but as a holy sign from the Master Himself.
I must say He really does have a sense of humor.
This sacred moment did catch me off guard I must confess.
I never thought God would speak to me in this mannner.
I can't stop laughing to myself actually and it is in my private moment
and where it shall remain.
The sparrow flies away on the wings of a miracle called nature
and it is time now for me to go back inside and pray.
I also pray that I can find a damp cloth quickly before someone catches me in the act
of cleaning off this little mess.
They'll whisper behind my back about that silly Elena daydreaming outside
in the courtyard once again and trying to commune with nature.
Well I certainly did that today and yes that's my confession in a story and I'm sticking to it."
